The White House has announced that President Obama will meet in February at Sunnylands with His Majesty King Abdullah II, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
As set forth in the Sunnylands Declaration of Trust, the primary mission of The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands is to provide a retreat space for the President of the United States "to bring together world leaders to promote world peace and facilitate international agreement."
Therefore, Sunnylands will be closed for tours, previously announced special activities and events, and all public access from Monday, February 10 through Monday, February 17.
Scheduled tours of the historic Annenberg estate will resume on Tuesday, February 18 for guests who have purchased tickets offered during Modernism Week. Sunnylands is working with Modernism Week to refund tickets purchased for tours scheduled during the President's visit.
Sunnylands Center & Gardens, which is free and open to the public Thursday – Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., will resume its regular schedule on Thursday, February 20.
