Summer Tours Feature "Back of House"

Thursday, April 30, 2015

During May and June and early fall, Sunnylands shifts tour emphasis to the interior of the historic house. Rooms not seen during the regular season are open to ticket holders. Starting May 1, house tours include the kitchen, the locker rooms, and the projection room, and a limited drive around the grounds. Previous visitors to Sunnylands are encouraged to book tickets to see these usually-closed areas of the historic house.
Tours of the estate can be purchased on at $40 each. Children under ten cannot be accommodated on tours of the historic house but are welcome to explore Sunnylands Center & Gardens, which is open during tour hours, and free to the public.
Sunnylands Center & Gardens closes to the public on June 14 and reopens on Sept 24.
