There are many ways to visit and enjoy Sunnylands.
If you can plan ahead, you may purchase a ticket to tour the historic house and grounds or schedule a group tour for your organization, friends, or family. Or, you may visit Sunnylands Center & Gardens with no reservation or fee on Thursdays through Sundays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pets are not allowed at Sunnylands.
Historic House & Grounds: Tour Sunnylands, the former winter residence of Walter and Leonore Annenberg designed by A. Quincy Jones, by purchasing tickets in advance at $35 per person. Tours are offered Thursdays through Sundays, except when a retreat is being held on the estate. Tickets, which are released in half-month blocks, must be purchased in advance and are available only online.
Sunnylands Center & Gardens: The newest gem in the Coachella Valley, Sunnylands Center & Gardens is free and open to the public Thursday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservations are required. If you are traveling with a party of ten or more, we ask that you submit this online form. Two-week notice is appreciated. When visiting the Center & Gardens, you will find yourself surrounded by world-class art and award-winning gardens. You can also enjoy a variety of multi-media offerings that contain information about the history of Sunnylands and its founders, Walter and Leonore Annenberg. Or come for a light lunch. The Café offers unparalleled mountain and garden views. Free guided garden walks are offered Thursdays at 11 a.m., and free guided bird walks are offered Fridays at 9:15 a.m.
